All games drives take place on a private basis in land cruisers with experienced drivers (guaranteed window seats) 

For the domestic flights the total baggage allowance per passenger (inclusive of hand baggage and cameras) is 20kgs in soft bags (luggage safe keeping is possible in the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa) 

The domestic flights require the passenger names on the ticket exactly match the passport used to travel. Please make sure to check all names carefully upon reservation. 

The routing of the domestic flight may include 1 or more stops at different airstrips

Tour Plan

DAY 1 ZANZIBAR

Karibu! The driver is waiting upon your arrival at the Zanzibar International Airport to bring you and your family to the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa (a transfer of approximately 1 hour). The start of your family holiday at the coral white sandy, palm-fringed beach of Kiwengwa and the warm crystal-clear water of the Indian Ocean. You stay on all-inclusive basis in a Deluxe Seaside Ocean View Room, conveniently located near the beach and the pools. 

DAY 2: ZANZIBAR

Enjoy your family time at the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa.

DAY 3 ZANZIBAR - NGORONGORO

Today your African adventure begins! After breakfast it’s time to check-out (don’t forget to take your picnic lunch). A transfer is foreseen to bring you back to the International Airport of Zanzibar where you board a 1,5-hour flight to the Airport of Arusha (Tanzania). The driver is waiting to take you and your family to the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge (a transfer of approximately 2,5 hours). A stop is foreseen at a typical Tanzanian village, Mto wa Mbu, which gives you a good first impression of the local culture. After the check-in and lodge briefing, you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the lodge, situated in 50 acres of Tanzanian bush, just a few steps away from the Ngorongoro Reserve Gate. In the evening you enjoy a family dinner at the restaurant and your first overnight in your 130 m2 luxury suite. 

DAY 4 NGORONGORO

This morning after breakfast, you leave for a full day private game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking wonder of nature, one of the highlights of Tanzania. The crater was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is said to have the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa. It is the home base of zebras, wildebeests, black rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and hippos. So, keep your camera and binoculars close! The advantage of a private safari is that you only need to take your own wishes (and off course those of your family) into account. The descent into the crater is one of scenic beauty. As you reach the inside of the Crater, your expert ranger will take you through the grassy crater floor, the fever tree forest, the banks of Lake Magadi and the surrounding marshes. Lunch is served picnic style at the crater floor, surrounded by the natural wonders, a truly amazing experience. You return at the lodge during the late afternoon. The rest of the day is spent at leisure. In the evening you enjoy a fine dinner and your last overnight at the lodge. 

 

DAY 5 NGORONGORO - ZANZIBAR

After a delicious breakfast it is time to check out again and pick up your picnic lunch. You have your return transfer to the Airport of Arusha where you board your flight to the tropical island of Zanzibar. The driver is waiting at the International Airport of Zanzibar to bring you to the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa again. You continue your stay on all-inclusive basis in a Deluxe Seaside Ocean View Room. 

DAY 6-7 ZANZIBAR

Enjoy your family time at the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa. 

 

DAY 8 ZANZIBAR

Time to return home with a suitcase full of unforgettable African memories. A transfer is foreseen to bring you to the International Airport of Zanzibar.
