 WHEN TO GO

Kenya is an excellent year round destination. But during November, April and May it can get wet in the Mara. January to March and late June through to October is when it is dry, and animals tend to congregate around permanent water sources. During the wet season (March through to May and from October to December), the animals disperse across the area and are harder to find. Even so the less travelled green season has many advantages such as dramatic photogenic skies, rejuvenated landscapes and this is time when many animals give birth to their young.
